New Year ,New Hope?

Well its January 5,2012 a new year and another year older . things have been going OK for us it was a little bumpy for awhile when Ob lost his job but he did fine another one , not something he wants to do but it pays the bills for now . We now have a friend living with us there are time that she gets on our nerves but its ok we get over it and that is going to happen when you have 3 adults living in the same house . she is very helpful to me seeing as I use a cane now and a chair and can't stand long.
Still going to my mom's and staying with her for a week to 2 weeks every month or so my daughter is still being manipulated by her so called husband because she won't come back to his ass (jerk that he is)
He took the kids and is trying to turn them against her and he has just about done it .she just doesn't want to see it but its been two years since we have seen them and months since for her. called to see them for Christmas and was told they don't want to see us or her we bought Christmas for them this year and last but sorry to say next year unless things change we will only be buying for her and the new baby Angel.It hurts to say that but why buy things for people your don't or can't see it feels like your bribing them with things. Now don't get me wrong She has 4 kids- 3 boys and 1 beautiful little girl and we love them all very much but they are of a mixed race( Mexican and white ) and it seems there father is doing his best to make them for get about our side . he never cared about them he even left and went back to Mexico for 3 years and he only cam back cause he thought she would come back to him and when she didn't he took the kids .nothing I can do about it to help her either . As a mother I feel her pain
but I,m not able to help her .hopefully she can get her divorce finally and go to court to get the kids back.

I have spend alot of time lately reading My sister Witches Post and it makes me start to doubt myself as to if I deserve to call myself a witch ,I am unable to worship or have a altar ,I can't even afford the simplest things as candles and crystals . Sometimes I wonder what I do believe in if anything . I ask myself alot of questions as to what I believe or don't and even though I Still get the same answers as I did the first time I still have to wonder what or why somethings are the way they are . but then I was always the one to ask the question of why? i do believe in the god and goddess but in a different way then most people do ,some believe that the god and goddess are two people in one but to me I think it is just 2 different people. one male and one female . I also don't see the need to pray every day or to do a ritual every day , I think if you live the life you were suppose to and save the prayers and Rituals for the important things then you should still be able to call yourself a witch. I mean I make alot of things instead of buying them ,I cook with love and feeling and I help everyone and anyone who ask me I have given good advice to whom ever ask me . I take care and feed wild animals and even nurse them when I need to .

I don't know ........ I just guess I feel like others have at one time or another , just not sure when its suppose to end .

It has been a while Since I have written anything here , as I choose to not write about just anything it must mean something to me .So my Husband has suffered much , lost of his job and not being able to fine another one , then he caught Bell's palsy which made it very hard on him. He started School to get more training on computers and A Certificate in order to get a better paying job , so now he has a job no a good one but a job , he continues to look for better but between the schooling , homework and Work the poor man is run ragged . I do everything I can to help him . We have a Friend who came to live with us to help me with the things I no longer am able to do , she is a goddess send , she wants to please and help so much and she truly does .
I have been doing a lot of thinking about the path I fallow , everyone seems to think you have to fallow all these guide lines and rules that was set up by people from England like Alex Sanders and Gerald Gardner and other from that period , but no one seems to want to remember that what we call wicca now was written by them to there own specification and does not necessarily make it the right way to do things .

I have chose to read all I can and decide what I wish to do and not do I will not ,I chose to do things my own way and to not feel like its some kind of a big deal , its suppose to be natural feeling not rehearsed .
I choose my god and goddess to fit what I need them for .
My life has been a lot of up's and down's so I know what I need to do and know, I can feel it inside it's kinda like I have always known what it was I needed .
If I feel the need to know the pules of the world and nature then I go out and lay my head and hands on a tree or the ground to feel its pulse.
it is my belief that all living things have a life pulse some people can feel them and some can't.
My life is always a mystery to a lot of people sometimes even to me , I love my family even when they choose to hurt me and I love animals and have a connection with them to a point . sometimes I know things I have no right to know but I do .I sit and think about what people would do if they had to fend for them selves if the world as we knew just blew up where everything went back to being like it once was , no power , not computers no phones , everything like it was our Great great grandparents days. I know I would survive my parents made sure of that , I can grow my own food , I can hunt and fish and find water .I also know that the old ways would return fast.

Well, I know I haven't been here in a while but I've had some things that I needed to deal with. I'm going to a seminar on Friday for Metabolic and weight lost Surgery . I am a type 2 diabetic and need a hip replacement and I can't lose the weight with out the replacement and I can't get the replacement with out the weight loss. I have also been having a little problem with my faith in where I want it to go or rather where it needs to go . I'm a little nervous about Friday and whats going to happen I may not even be able to have the operation .It says i have to diet for 6 months and I haven't never been able to stick to a Diet and doubt I will be able to do this one . its just a big mess . there is so much I want to do and see that I'm not able to and I so hate the stupid chair I have to use to get around in , I feel old and I,m not old,I,m the person who used to help people do what then needed done and now I,m one of those people and it sucks!

My Beliefs in Witchcraft

I have been practiceing witchcraft for a long time now, and as i see the new pagans coming up I wonder where these people get there information , so much is out there right now and you have to be very careful as to what you believe . I practice in the old ways meaning i don't feel I have to do a spell or prayer every single day . in the olden days they had to be very secretive so they were careful about when and where they did anything , or they would have been tried and killed its not like that now as in you not hung or burned but you are still judged for believing this way.

I keep the God and Goddess in my heart always and if I feel the need i will say a silent prayer to them but I only do rituals or open prayers when I need to .
I do have all the witchcraft things just like everyone else , just not as much I only have the things I felt I needed for me , I took a old cast iron dutch oven I use that as my cauldron for a long time my atheme was a old hickory butcher knife I have recent;y received a new atheme that my husband bought for me and I love it but when it comes to basic spell working the old hickory will more then likely come to hand . My husbands grandmother was a shaman witch who healed people who could not afford a doctor . A old hickory is what she used and I figure if it was good enough for that sweet kind lady then it was good enough for me.
I never got to meet this lovely woman as she died before I came around , But according to my husband she would have loved me , and I would have learned a lot from this woman . I don't think you need a lot of items in order to worship the god and goddess now don't get me wrong there is a lot of pretty things out there and I would love to have one or two of each , BUT you don't need them.

Candles are cheap and the small bits you can melt down to make new candles
you can make your own broom , if you use one, if you have someone cutting trees near your house and its a fairly large tree go ask them if they will please cut you a 1" to 2" slice off the tree, take it home and make your own alter tile or spirit board or if the piece is big enough you might can add legs and make a alter our of it. Stop feelings like you have to buy everything and look at pictures then ask yourself how can I make that. you will respect it and love it all the more for the fact that you made it with your own hands. you can even learn how to make your own BOS completely form cover to cover inside and out , you just have to READ and Think .... I know in this age of computer knowledge most people do not do this now a days. if you can't make it find a friend who is handy making crafts and ask them to help you , not do it for you but to HELP you do . I think you will be all the better for it.

Wow, isn't it great , its been so hot this summer and now that the fall is coming its such a relief for people animals and plants alike, The Earth is cooling down and soon it will be time for it to sleep once again till next spring , now don't get me wrong , i like when the spring is here, and everything is just waking up and so pretty but when summer comes its to much for me , the heat makes me sick , so I prefer the spring and the fall Seasons , I know crazy witch , but thats me . I've been talking photographs of wild life lately , just learning on a professional camera, I guess I'm doing ok. well see once they are developed . but so far all is good and still trying to get people to please get the book OF BLOOD AND MAGIC : A VAMPIRE"S STORY , a friend of mine wrote it and I,m sure you would loved it if you just read it. the link and the book are in my first blog.
